We help you choose once and ride anywhere. Exercise Bike Reviews exists to surface quiet, compact, open‑standard bikes that work with your favorite apps today and tomorrow—without lock‑in.

Our Brand Story

Indoor cycling shouldn’t force you into a single ecosystem or a monthly subscription you don’t want. After too many rides on bikes that were loud in real apartments, inaccurate under sprint, or “app compatible” only in marketing copy, we built a standardized, real‑home test bench to separate signal from noise. We grade bikes on quietness and vibration, app interoperability (Bluetooth FTMS, ANT+ FE‑C, dual‑band, firmware updates), fit across rider sizes, moveability and footprint, and long‑term upkeep and total cost of ownership.

Our approach is future‑proof first. If a bike can’t talk to Peloton App, Zwift, TrainerRoad, Apple Fitness+, and more—without hacks or dongles—it won’t earn our highest marks. We verify power accuracy and drift, map open‑app features, document setup and fit, and stress test support and spare‑parts availability. The goal: you enjoy rides that feel great, sound quiet, connect cleanly, and age gracefully.

• Connectivity & Apps Editor: Focused on interoperability—Bluetooth FTMS, ANT+ FE‑C, dual‑band stability, firmware updates, and data export to Health/Strava/Garmin.
• Performance Analyst: Designs repeatable noise, vibration, and power‑accuracy protocols; validates results against reference power meters and known workloads.
• Ownership & Service Researcher: Evaluates maintenance schedules, corrosion resistance, spare‑parts pricing, warranty terms, and brand responsiveness.
• Home Experience Editor: Looks at footprint, aesthetics, cable management, transport wheels, and how the bike lives in real spaces.
